A true heritage denim brand, Lois was created by two brothers in 1962, having fallen in love with “American cowboy work trousers’ and using their family knowledge of production and tailoring their own distinctive Spainish style, Lois Jeans was born.
It didn’t take long for Lois Jeans to sweep across the global dance floors and be accepted by the young tribes of the 70’s & 80’s and to be seen worn by the icons of the time Bjorn Borg, Abba, James Hunt, Rod Stewart & Johan Cruyff.
By the 80s the terrace lads in the UK had realised the beauty of the understated quality of Lois Jeans and it still remains a staple in the terrace wardrobe ever since.
Time has moved on since Lois launched into the world but the Saez-Merino Family still own and run Lois Jeans today and the love and rich heritage is still visible in every seam of clothing.
